Dirt Rag Magazine is an independent publication located in Pittsburgh, PA, in operation since 1989. We are primarily about mountain biking, but feature other aspects of cycling culture, such as commuting. Our format is that of a forum, in which anyone can participate; much of our content, both in words and visuals, is submitted by readers. We feature a fair amount of art in the form of illustrations, particularly on our covers, unlike other cycling publications that exclusively use photos.
