We are small team responsible for wearing many hats. My role as a designer encompasses footwear design for our Licensed partner Champion Athletics. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design of Champions premium footwear line of products, sourcing new materials, developing our line directly with overseas factories several times per year. Copious amounts of sketching, both traditionally and digital utilizing sketchbook pro. Conducting fit test, consumer, product and trend research. Working with Champion to develop SMU's when appropriate. Paying attention to duty, cost and design language throughout the entire design process. responsible for entire design process (design, development, materials, color, pullover, revisions) from initial sketch ideation to sales/ store samples.

Responsible for footwear and apparel development of several licensed brands including but not limited too: Shaq, Brava, Wolverine, Skechers, Rawlings, BCG, Hytest and Lotto. Apply market research, trend insight, and knowledge to select materials, and actively create and present new and innovative footwear concepts. Develop and create illustrations, technical drawings for new design concepts and digital renderings of materials in Photoshop and Illustrator, detailing concept, materials, and development specifications based on brand, style and product guidelines. Conduct user research and fit testing. Review prototypes in a timely manner and update tech packs to reflect agreed upon changes and modifications. Collaborate with the development/sample team to design products within specific pricing goals. Create and ensure timely execution of tech/design packages ensuring all level of detail is accurate. Collaborate and clearly communicate with Design team to ensure design objectives are reflected in the creation and execution of the product. Prepare presentations of design projects, clearly communicating design vision. Create or revise technical package, create accurate CADs and line art quickly and efficiently.
