My name is James Fountain and I am from Seneca, South Carolina. My greatest strengths are founded in my determination and problem-solving skills that have been formed through my life as a congenital amputee. I am an avid outdoors enthusiast and hope to one day compete in the Winter Paralympics.

Sales Associate

- Assisted the Marketing Manager in implementing the overall marketing strategy of the Adaptive Sports Center, an outdoor recreation company serving those with disabilities.
- Responsibilities included: planning and executing daily social media posts for Facebook and Instagram to increase awareness and promote our outdoor programs, designing key print and graphic design content for group programs and special events, merchandise sales, and acting as the organization’s primary photographer for major events and participant outings.

Marketing Intern

Responsible for creating a new fan experience and promotional marketing campaign for the Clemson Men’s Basketball Team to increase student attendance. This involved researching how teams in the NFL, MLB, and NBA ran their fan experience programs, examining how these strategies could be used in a college sports environment, and ultimately creating a set of programs that could be implemented for in game fan experience and student outreach.

Student Marketing Assistant

Rotational intern with assignments in all aspects of the organization with primary responsibility in the ticket office and team store. Roles in the team store included operating the cash register, inventory stocking and organizing, and merchandise management.Ticket office responsibilities included online and phone sales of tickets and promotional items, and performing research and analysis of season ticket utilization.
