Women's maternity clothing company seeks motivated sales representative willing to travel to retail stores and chains in the Houston/Galveston Texas area to obtain contracts and to sell our products Sales representatives hired will perform the following duties: - Develop an extended potential buyer contact list - Make contact with potential buyers at the local and corporate level - Carry salesman samples to potential buyers at the local and corporate level - Pitch the product to potential buyers at the local and corporate level - Fill out and submit to us reports on contacts and sales results We will provide the following: - An initial list of potential buyer contacts - Salesman samples - A lucrative commission on any sales and sales contracts that you make with retailers or chains (including standing orders!) Notes: - Sales representatives hired will be required to have their own economical and reliable transportation - You must incur your own gasoline expenses for your first month - This is a commission-only position - there is no additional pay - If hired, you will be given one week to make your first sales contacts, and an additional two weeks to close at least one deal with a retailer or chain - You get paid when we get paid from the buyer - If you demonstrate successful sales, then you may be asked to continue sales efforts with us - This position may become permanent, depending on your sales results
