Manager - Sales Core Market - East Coast
Job Summary:
Manages Regional core sales force and accounts. Builds on retailer relationships/partnerships to further drive Vans core business and execute key sales strategies by product category. Targets business opportunities annually. Establish control-related standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Manages Regional core accounts and core account sales force
Develops Regional quarterly sales execution plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives
Develops Regional annual marketing plans, (Marketing Development), to drive retail sell through within core account base
Achieves Regional sales objectives
Executes key sales strategies within region by category
Oversees Vans sell through, brand margin and turn performance, and customer business updates for region
Pro-actively addresses issues and opportunities within account base. Performs other miscellaneous duties as needed
Administers and accounts for customer claims, markdown, allowances, marketing, and RTV
Partners with Core Account Coordinator to ensure customers and sales reps
Partners with Core Customers to ensure brand visibility by product category
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years sales and account management experience
Bachelors degree (BA) from a four year college or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills:
Demonstrates understanding of retail math and logistics
Demonstrates ability to build business partnerships
Exhibits professionalism, honesty, integrity, courtesy and respect in all dealings with fellow employees, guests, vendors or others with whom the company conducts business
Demonstrates respect for the diversity of all individuals in the work place
Ability to lead, coach and develop staff to improve performance and achieve professional goals
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees and others with whom the company conducts business
Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, procedures and other business practices, guidelines and documents
Travel required Approx. 50%-60% including air and overnight
Willing and able to work additional hours when needed
Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight from 1 to 25lbs, depending on need
This position is located on the East Coast (Midwest to East Coast Region.)
