Baker Boys Distribution is looking for you! Baker Boys Distribution the distributors of DEATHWISH SKATEBOARDS, and SHAKE JUNT. We are a fun, fast paced quickly growing skateboard distribution company.
We need an Illustrator / Graphic Designer who is fast and smart that can work well within our team.
***VERY IMPORANT***
We need to see your portfolio of work when you submit your resume. Be sure it’s tight because it is what we’ll use to evaluate you as a candidate. Here are a few helpful tips:
1. You must be a freehand ILLUSTRATOR. Demonstrate to us that your illustration style matches our brand image. Check out our company website to see: http://www.bakerboysdist.com and http://www.Bakerskateboards.com
2. If you have past deck artwork, be sure to submit it.
3. Submit samples that also show your graphic design capabilities

The candidate must be well organized, have attention to detail, follow directions, initiate and follows through on multiple projects and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, growth environment.
Responsibilities:
• Love and knowledge of the skateboard industry
• Ability to brainstorm, collaborate as well as take direction
• Keep organized and meet deadlines
• Design, layout and illustration skills
• Accept feedback from the Creative Director and incorporates the feedback into the designs
• Work closely with Creative directors to illustrate and design skateboards decks, apparel, hard goods, and accessory graphics
• Create mock-ups and spec sheets for vendors
• Perform work on multiple projects simultaneously prioritizing projects to meet deadlines
• Proactively suggest improvements for creative direction
• Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (must be very proficient Photoshop and Illustrator especially)
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Deadline-Oriented in a fast pace working environment.
• Detail-Oriented
• Organized
• Ability to follow direction
• Must have experience in: Mac, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver.
• Great creative design skills. Strong creative ability.
• Great technical skills and an ability to troubleshoot.
• You will be required to work at our North Hollywood office
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• 1-2 yrs min. of Graphic Design experience
