Turner PR is seeking an Account Executive to join our lifestyle division with a background in snow, bike and/or action sports. Working in tandem with both our PR and social media teams, this role will drive results through daily media relations and pitching. Leveraging our team of creative thinkers, this candidate will support our outdoor and active lifestyle brand roster, maintaining strong relationships with relevant media and influencers. Grounded in publicity, this position requires a strong eye for identifying trends, relevant partnerships, event execution, creative media placement and content development. This position also requires the flexibility to travel up to 30 percent of the time, as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Maintains strong relationships with top tier outdoor and active lifestyle media, leveraging those relationships to support client needs
• Serves as the day-to-day resource for media contacts and oversees development of media relations strategy and pitch calendar
• Manages Junior Account Executives, Account Coordinator and interns Directly reports to Supervisor and Director levels
• Contributes to PR strategy through expert media relations/pitching lens
• Understands and prioritizes the objectives of each client anticipates needs in advance
• Contributes 75 percent of time to media and influencer relations
• Writes client collateral, which includes but is not limited to: press releases, media alerts, photo captions, pitches, bios and fact sheets
• Utilizes media relationships to secure consistent and quality placements on clients’ behalf
• Understands social media and identifies ways to integrate digital tactics into other communications strategies
• Stays up-to-date on social media trends to provide recommendations to client about how social media channels can best be used to pitch, support client goals or leverage exposure
• Prepares meeting agendas, notes and reports
• Manages account execution and deadlines
• Contributes to client relations through meetings, conference calls, events and general contact
• Stays in front of current industry news and trends
