Manhattan Beachwear, Inc. is currently looking for a highly motivated, creative and experienced Associate Designer to join our team. We are a successful swimwear company located in Los Angeles and Cypress, CA. We manufacture brands such as Kenneth Cole NY, Reaction, Split, Hot Kiss, Hobie, Maxine, Hermanny by Vix.

The Associate Designer position works with the Design Team in the creation and execution of a line. Candidate must have at least 3 years of professional experience, (Please note: intership experiance does not meet our minimum requirement of 3 years of professional work experiance)

• 3 to 5 years of swimwear design experience.
• College degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Swimwear design experience a plus
• Solid flat sketching skills.
• Good design and color sense.
• Solid understanding of design process and garment construction
• Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability as an individual thinker and team player.
• Highly Proficient with Illustrator and Photo Shop
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
High energy level, enthusiastic, positive outlook, and the ability to multi-task.
