Want to design accessories in the skateboard market (and maybe some clothes)? Want to work in San Francisco? Are you able to contribute to the complete design process?
If yes to above, then you may be a qualified candidate for Design Developer at Deluxe.
We are looking for someone that possesses ability to both take direction and contribute to conceptual design. We need someone that can lead projects and bring his/her own creative ideas and designs that fit within our market. To succeed in this position you must have:
- Knowledge of current trends, fabrications, styling, trims, and technical renderings/spec sheets within the skateboard/action sport market
- Be able to develop styles for all classifications and genders from initial concepts through pre-production to achieve on-time delivery while ensuring quality and construction, and while adhering to costing targets
- Knowledge and experience with costing, timeline management, spec sheets, production confirmation, QC, sample tracking, product manuals and presentation boards
- 3 years or more experience in accessory design/production, excellent skills in computer design programs, (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Complete comprehension in accessory/apparel manufacturing process – design, development and production
- Strong communication and organizational skills all required.
