POSITION SUMMARY // ANALYST
• Utilize a broad array of data sources to generate actionable business intelligence
• Develop and implement detailed analysis tools
• Develop demand forecasts for multiple sales and production channels with unique time horizons
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
DUTIES // Including but not limited to:
• Gather, validate and aggregate data to inform decision making within sales, marketing and production
• Solicit and assess feedback from internal partners to build optimal situational awareness in all departments
• Build and maintain data tools which accurately reflect past and present business outcomes as well as forecast future results
• Build and maintain deep analysis tools to extract key insights into customer profiles, consumer behavior, and response to variables affecting product sales, such as price, presentation, seasonality, and marketing
• Interact with sales, marketing, and customer service to understand demand and behavior drivers
• Contribute to development of inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
• Generate spec reporting and analysis as needed by management
• Achieve consensus for operational forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing, finance, and management personnel
