We are specifically looking for a passionate & driven full time Associate Buyer to join our retail team located in Costa Mesa, who will maximize sales and margin by determining the optimum product mix for our retail stores.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Responsible for meeting all financial goals for Junior, Footwear and Watch Division
• Determine seasonal merchandise assortment based on analysis and trend
• Manage division OTB for junior’s, footwear and watches
• Weekly, monthly & seasonal data analysis and department reporting
• Working closely with key stakeholders ensure the optimum product mix
• Indent order preparation, order processing & delivery management
• Responsible for product allocation
• Responsible for inventory and strategies to manage inventory including transfers, returns, in store promotions and product consolidation.
• Work on seasonal floor set with our visual merchandiser to ensure all seasonal big ideas are executed.
• Responsible for being an expert on who our customer is and what the market trends are by being in our stores/ the market on a consistent basis.
So, you have an eye for trends, you know what is hot and what our market wants, this job is for you. Your passion for surfing and the boardriding lifestyle is coupled with your passion for fashion. Of course you have strong computer and analytical skills and are comfortable working with numbers. You also have a few years work experience ideally in retail buying, wholesale sales or retail sales and you are proactive with the ability to work unsupervised but also as part of a team.
