Current Opportunity:
Beachbody LLC (maker of P90x and Insanity) is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Apparel Sourcing and Production Coordinator with a diverse background in fabrics and apparel production. This position reports to the Sourcing Manager. The primary focus of this position is to identify, produce, and source for Apparel spend across the entire organization with a focus on bringing to market product to support our fitness lines.
About Your Duties:
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Interfacing with other departments to gather requirements and specifications.
- Maintaining an organized list of outstanding projects with special attention to deadlines related to delivery of material needed for events.
- Acting as an advocate of Operations department to educate the organization on the value of apparel sourcing and pulling all production and sourcing efforts for Beachbody Apparel under the responsibility of the sourcing group.
- Planning and manage RFP, RFQ, and Sourcing Events.
- Preparing technical packs for Overseas and Domestic Vendors.
- Entering and maintaining updates for each style in PLM system or shared drives, performing daily tracking of goods on order, in progress (WIP) and in-transit to ensure timely delivery according to development calendar.
About Your Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in Apparel Sourcing required.
- BA or BS degree preferred.
- Experience in sourcing and communicating with domestic and overseas apparel vendors.
- Experience with spend analysis.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to interface effectively with people at all levels and functions good communication and presentation skills.
- Needs to be very organized, good attention to detail, follow directions given, but also be able to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Self starter, able to work in matrix organizations.
- Prior apparel experience with knits fitness and technical performance fabrics a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator a plus.
