Job Title: Apparel Production Manager (EDI Experience Required)

ANDERSON BROTHERS DESIGN AND SUPPLY, located in Seal Beach, CA, is looking for a self-motivated, conscientious, and organized Apparel  Production Manager. We are looking for a leader who can work within a team environment to make sure productions are scheduled, accounted for accurately.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Production Apparel Manager with a strong background in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and NetSuite platform to oversee our apparel production operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the apparel manufacturing process, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of utilizing EDI to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Silkscreen, sourcing and garment construction experience is a plus.  This position is full time in office.  Non remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire apparel production team and process, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with design, sourcing, and merchandising teams to develop production schedules and timelines.
• Utilize EDI systems to facilitate communication and data exchange with suppliers, manufacturers, and retail partners.
• Monitor production performance and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce lead times.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to apparel production.
• Manage relationships with vendors and manufacturers to negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Analyze production data and generate reports to inform decision-making and strategy.
• Train and mentor team members on production best practices and EDI usage.
• Address any production issues or challenges promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Production Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in apparel production management, with a focus on EDI processes.
• Strong understanding of apparel manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control.
• Proficiency in EDI software and tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems and project management software (NetSuite). 
• Anderson Brothers Design and Supply currently works on a NetSuite platform
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in apparel production.
