Application Engineer Nike, Inc. Beaverton, OR. Lead the development of code and configures applications and provide support for existing applications. Manage the development and provide support integrations that may include API contracts, pipelines, and transformation services. Drive technical design and analysis in support of functional requirements gathering, story decomposition, and defining acceptance criteria under moderate supervision. Supervise business consulting, systems, data, and application analysis. Identify and solve a range of problems and analyzes possible solutions and assesses each using standard procedures. Oversee the non-standard requests from internal and/or external customers. Write automated unit and integration tests, and support the services and applications that help NIKE businesses and integrate applications with internal/external systems. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Applicant must have a Masters degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include:
1. Python;
2. SQL;
3. AWS;
4. Agile methodologies;
5. Linux;
6. GitHub;
7. Airflow; and
8. REST.
