Job Description
This position will oversee all receiving/replenishment/stocking/pick module pulling/packing/tilt tray processing/inventory control, in the Distribution Center. You will support these department processes to maintain an accurate inventory throughout the Distribution Center.
This is a highly visible management position with expectations of, but is not limited to the following:
• Works closely with VP in order achieve Quarterly Shipping Goals.
• Work with Staff to ensure all jobs are met accordingly.
• To work closely with every Manager of every Dept to make sure daily task/Goals are met daily.
• Work closely with the Production/Sales Support Dept, in order to prioritize order processing.
• Work with Inventory Control Dept and help maintain and Physical Inventory
• Keep O/T to a minimum & maintain productivity to the level required.
• Plans and schedules Dept Meetings
• Work closely with other Management staff to ensure that everyone works as one TEAM.
• Strong communication skills to subordinates and to upper Management.
• Extensive understanding and knowledge of the (WMS) Warehouse Management Systems.
• Monitor Dept expenses.
Principal Accountabilities
• Full accountability of the depts. mention above & movement of products within each Distribution Center.
• Train and coach Staff.
• Manages time and attendance for the departments.
• Participates in brainstorming sessions to streamlines current / new processes.
• Ability to submit process improvements on a consistent basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Support Company Safety and Workers’ Compensation programs throughout the Distribution Center.
Job Requirements
• 7-10 years required of Distribution Management experience
• Extensive knowledge of Distribution Center overall order processing
• Very strong communication and writing skills required.
• Needs to be able to do multiple tasks and work efficiently, to meet company deadlines.
• Willing to work the hours necessary to achieve the Company Mission
• Needs computer experience in Windows environment, MS Office & WMS.
• Bilingual, English and Spanish required
