Rip Curl is looking for an E-Commerce Coordinator to join its crew in Costa Mesa, Calif.
Main Purpose and Major Challenges of the Role
Organize, implement, merchandise and maintain strategy and function of our e commerce store. The e commerce coordinator works collaboratively with marketing, customer service and warehouse departments to drive financial results that maximize sales and profitability.
Role Accountabilities
Accountability
• Responsible for converting traffic to site into sales
• Prepare product data for seasonal upload
• Manage e commerce calendar
• Ensure all available product is on site and available for purchase
• Strategically drive site traffic by partnering with marketing
• Research competitors’ websites for improvements, ideas, and opportunities
• Merchandise site assortment based on sales and history
• Work closely with product managers and marketing to ensure all product images and product information is available, current and accurate
• Facilitate communication to address issues and execute improvements
• Work closely with customer service to ensure our customers receive the best possible Rip Curl shopping experience
• Responsible for all e commerce reporting
• Execute weekly social media updates
Essential Qualities
• Detail Oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to sit for long periods of time
• Driven
• Highly organized, with the ability to coordinate numerous concurrent projects
• Excellent sense of urgency
• Strong aptitude for computers and technical function
Qualification & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of retail industry experience
• Previous e commerce experience preferred
