We are looking for an Assistant Head Coach Visual Merchandising & Styling responsible for driving smooth product executions and processes that ensure the highest level of visual merchandising and styling within House of Innovation. In this role you will lead a team of VMS Coaches and Specialists and ensure they deliver a world-class instore experience on a 365 basis.
Develop and drive clear direction for implementation of product presentation and retail marketing standards to ensure we are driving the complete Nike brand offense in Paris through the Raw Parisian Flair in close alignment with the Head Coach VMS for HOI.
Lead, coach and inspire the House of Innovation Paris VMS team with a clear vision of success and enable the team to deliver the highest visual standards in the industry, delivering benchmark results by driving process efficiency and personal development.
Execute training strategies to ensure the team has adequate knowledge of visual standards, visual merchandising techniques, seasonal trends and develop strong presentation and training skills.
Plan and align product transitions x-functionally with the wider marketing and buying teams.
Support the Head Coach VMS for HOI in setting strategy and the planning of upcoming seasonal change-outs and product innovations.
In this role you will have several line reports that you will be leading, coaching, and inspiring, creating a high performing team.
In this role, you will join the Nike Store retail team for House of Innovation in Paris reporting into the Head Coach VMS. You will be based in the city center of Paris, Nikes most premium and important distribution channel "House of Innovation" and the store offices in the same building.
As part of your role, you will be partnering up with the broader VMS and marketing team and commercial functions within the store as well as external suppliers, agencies, and third-party vendors.
Education in the field of visual merchandising and styling and/or Bachelor in the field of retail marketing, communication, art & design, fashion & styling.
Minimum of 3 years working experience in retail marketing or visual merchandising & styling for a flagship concept (store size > 3.000sqm)
Fluent in English in both written and verbal communication; French speaking knowledge is an advantage.
Excellent ability to plan and lead full floor zoning and strategy autonomously with a strong drive for results.
Ability to manage human, financial, time and logistic resources for planning of set-up.
Strong ability to lead, coach and inspire team of VMS for House of Innovation.
Demonstrate creativity and agility in a fast-moving environment.
Analytical capabilities of product sales
Demonstrate Brand passion and act with integrity.
Understanding and enthusiasm of retail industry and sales is essential.
