JOB MISSION:
New Balance are looking for an Associate Marketing Manager, Running to support the development and coordinate a highly credible Running Brand Marketing program to ensure consistent activation and visibility across the region.
The successful candidate will also build and develop best practice and strategy within the EMEA Running Team that can allow New Balance to achieve a ‘Leadership position in running’, working closely with the EMEA Marketing Manager Running.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Running Brand Marketing
! Work closely with local New Balance Marketing teams to develop and support regional GTM plans
! Support regional campaign planning
! Develop bespoke running activations for regional key accounts that drive growth and strengthen key relationships
! Be the point of contact for all tier 1 and 2 regional events, including guestlist and bib organization
! Coordinate the regional product launch calendar inline with Global Game Plan
! Organizing photoshoots and content capture for launches not on the game plan but hold local importance in EMEA
Running Sports Marketing
! Ensure key athletes and events assets are fully leveraged across EMEA, including storytelling, content, SoMe, PR and asset creation
! Attendance at key events across the region when required
! Work closely with event/product teams to support across all EMEA funded events
! Design and contribute unique stories, interesting topics, new project formats
! EMEA Hospitality support at key NB partner events
! Roll out EMEA seeding strategy amongst key running influencers for both footwear and apparel
! Establish a strong sport-performance network among sports institutes, trainers/coaches, clubs, federations, sports scientists, opinion leaders and sports universities
EMEA Game Plan support
! Identify and manage local asset creation to supplement global asset base where and when required to ensure relevancy to our region
! Co-ordinate key information between Global, Regional and local New Balance Marketing Teams
! Ensure global running marketing requirements are fed into regional markets across Europe
! Ensure all global marketing assets are made available to all EMEA markets
! Main point of contact with EMEA markets for general information and inquiries
Trade Marketing Support
! Identify and support commercial brand opportunities to drive market share in performance categories
! Collaborative approach with key specialty accounts to deliver relevant/usable DTC/Ecommerce support
! Support running specialty accounts with tailored content and SoMe plans
! Assist EMEA Running Team to create a Running Summit/Elite Dealer Meeting/Product Showcase
! Point of contact for athlete trade marketing requests/opportunities across the region
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

! Specialist knowledge and strong experience of running performance across track & field, road and trail running
! Experience working with external agencies and partners
! Team Player
! Exceptional organisation, time & management skills
! High level communication skills and people first mindset
! Able to evaluate priorities
