JOB MISSION:

The North America (NA) Associate Marketing Manager – Lifestyle Key Accounts is responsible for managing the overall account marketing strategy, liaising with the marketing teams to align and own the product calendars and marketing activations, and ensuring we are utilizing all opportunities to drive the account growth across core pillars in Lifestyle and Performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to New Balance’s growth across NA by managing key relationships with our most important strategic partners. This role serves as a key integrator and connector across global key accounts in North America, ensuring we drive distinct yet cohesive strategies across the region, and maximize all regional investments. 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
!
Work closely with the Marketing Manager to plan account strategy, calendars and campaigns in line with the brand's key stories, calendars, and account growth plans.

!
Create and present consumer-first, account-specific marketing presentations that influence future buys.

!
Coordinate plans for all key NA exclusive product launches, and assist with developing integrated plans across content creation, influencers, athletes, events/experiential activations, and cultural moments.

!
Highlight gaps, challenges, and opportunities from Global/regional plans

!
Manage marketing budget, adopting a ‘test and learn’ approach to a portion of the investment

!
Create, coordinate, and activate 360 wholesale marketing plans to achieve ideal sell-through.

!
Provide regular communication on upcoming and live activity along with industry and account updates (culture, competitors, innovation, music, sports, fashion, streetwear, activism, etc.)

!
Analyze and evaluate results to constantly learn and improve for future campaigns.

!
Communicate results and return on investment to wider business.

!
Integrate wider business opportunities, such as athletes and talent to activate key moments.

!
Act as day-to-day marketing contact and build strong relationships with the account stakeholders.

!
Collaborate with internal cross functional teams (Sales, Merchandising, VM, Global Marketing, Creative Team) and external agencies to develop innovative ‘brand firsts’ experiential, in-store, and online marketing campaigns and assets.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
!
Boston based role (Hybrid)

!
3-5 years of marketing or applicable experience   

!
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail, or related field

!
Proven ability to successfully collaborate across a broad range of internal and external business partners.

!
Strong budget management.  Budget planning, tracking, facilitating vendor payments

!
Proven leadership, organizational and collaboration skills

!
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

!
Strong work ethic and ability to problem solve

!
Passion and desire for excellence; motivated and results driven.

!
Strong understanding of Basketball & Lifestyle footwear retail space, including Lifestyle, Athletic Specialty, and Sporting Goods channels

!
Domestic travel to for account facing meetings and planned activations (Up to 25% Travel expected)

Flexible Work Schedule
For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
