Agron, Inc. is the exclusive US licensee for adidas Accessories. Our products include hats, bags, socks, underwear, hydration, and sport accessories for adidas. In that spirit we are looking for an extremely organized bag/pack Product Developer. This position reports to the Development Director with a dotted line to the VP of Development, and is based at our office in West Los Angeles, California.

The Position

Support the product development process for assigned styles from seasonal kick

off through to commercialization. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers

to provide effective transition from brief/design through to development

“buy-ready” commercialization, on time, within the agreed margin parameter and

at the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pricing management –creative cost savings, seasonal negotiations, multiple factory development if needed.

• · Monitor factory capabilities
• · Responsible to meet margin requirements

• Manage factory relationship
• · Overseas travel to factories when needed.

• Develop and manage trims and keep R&D information up to date.

• Creating and managing tech pack handover from design to factory

• Working within the creation team which includes design and marketing.

• Work within product development calendar and have ability to work within multiple timelines and hit all deadlines

• PLM system data management

• Proto/sample tracking and management of factory samples.
• ·Evaluate all prototypes for compliance including:
• manage fit approval/size specifications
• approval of color, lab-dips
• approval of print strike-off’s

• Trade show attendance when needed.

• Ensure products within a retail price hold their value across all brandmarks.

• Factory allocation of products

• Involved in forecasting with management 
• ·Review forecasts with factories and suppliers

• Product testing

• Collaborate in Creation & Management of Material Toolbox seasonally
