Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.
While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.
Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.
The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.
Your opportunity
Within the Global Client Engagement department, reporting to the Global Direct Marketing Manager, and working hand in hand with the Global CRM Campaign Coordinator, you will help in developing the global Client Engagement strategy by designing, deploying and constantly improving Direct Marketing channels, Lifecycle programs and Clienteling tools in order to recruit new clients and upgrade the existing ones.
How you will contribute
Collaborate with regional Client Engagement teams to drive client retention at a global level
Support the Direct Marketing activities, make sure it is in line with Balenciaga DNA
Monitor Direct Marketing, Lifecycle and Clienteling activities to ensure client satisfaction and engagement
DIRECT MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIESInteracting constantly with Merchandising, Digital, Image, Ecommerce and Product departments, in order to:
Support the definition, update and sending of the Direct Marketing channels calendar
Coordinate the delivery of Direct Marketing multichannel campaigns together with the external agency, the translation agency and the local teams by liaising with the adequate Balenciaga stakeholders at HQ level
Collect feedback to consolidate Local requests from regions and Global requests from HQ
Define relevant client targets in line with the criteria shared by HQ or target files provided by regions
Support benchmarking activities on a monthly basis
CLIENTELING RESPONSIBILITIESCollect local one to one Clienteling task requests, prepare briefs, liaise with the agency and regions to coordinate task delivery
Prepare one to one Clienteling task pushes following the Global Marketing Calendar
Help in developing retail marketing tools to support sales associates, including product catalogs and digital store invitation
LIFECYCLE PROGRAMS RESPONSIBILITIESUpdate existing lifecycle programs with the latest content
Coordinate asset requests and delivery with Image department
Ensure the flawless execution of client journeys
Monitor the impact of lifecycle program initiatives in terms of client engagement and ROI
Provide qualitative feedback and improvement solutions
Who you are

Well organized and flexible, able to deal with last minute requests
Proactive, Reactive and Curious
Quick learner in an intercultural context
Good understanding of luxury industry
Previous experience in campaign management, digital or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
Good Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
Fluent in English
