Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.

While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.

Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.

The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.

BALENCIAGA Administrator Assistant
We are currently seeking an Administrator Assistant who will report to the Store Manager/Stock Manager
Your opportunity
The Admin Assistant supports Store Management by executing and overseeing all administrative processes related to payment, cash flow and stock in compliance with Balenciaga procedures.
How you will contribute
Monitor and respond incoming telephone or email queries on behalf of the store
Ensure that after sale cases are dealt with promptly and to a high level of customer service
Product repairs and staff uniform management
Support with client transactions and champion correct till use
Ensure till reconciliations are kept up to date and initiate investigations of discrepancies
Manage petty cash and store expenses including liaising with the accounts department
Align with the company return policy and ensure all exchanges and refunds are authorised
Provide sales support on the shop floor if requested by management, providing exceptional customer service
Develop and maintain good product knowledge and an understanding of current trends
Maintain a high level of communication with clients, colleagues and all members of management
Support with the investigation of negative stock on hand items
Support with inter store stock transfers
Ensure audit paperwork is on hand and updated
Who you are
Similar experience in previous store environment
Rigor, sense of organization and priorities management
Excellent written and oral skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Availability, adaptability, sense of service, team spirit
A good knowledge of IT and Microsoft package namely Outlook and Excel
A product sensitivity and an understanding of the fashion industry would be advantageous
