The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role for the distribution and customer service department by providing a wide range of logistics, operational and customer support for our Footwear Division. The position focuses on customer fulfillment, EDI, routing requirements, customer compliance and general customer service.
EDI & Drop Ship Coordination:
- Project Lead for all EDI set-ups.
- Manage customer routing requirements and populate integrated (Blue Cherry) system with customers.
- Manage allocation by warehouse operationsystems on a regular basis.
- Oversee changes to internal procedures to become compliant with new requirements as needed.
- Monitors pick/pack process for orders shipping out
- Assist Director of Operations in gathering freight quotes, routing requests and document preparation.
- Manage allocation by interacting with 3rd party warehouse operation systems on a regular basis.
- Assist with outbound International Shipping, Freight for Inventory Transfers and Customs Brokerage.
- Assist Director of Operations in monitoring monthly shipping targets by sales channel.
- Problem solve on EDI related issues and questions.
Customer Service:
- Assist National Sales Manager as it relates to customer inquiries, orders and returns.
- Assist and field outside sales rep inquiries in relation to their individual territories and process various service related requests.
- Research all chargeback’s to determine the validity and dispute accordingly.
- Provide returns and warranty information as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ Years’ experience in operations, logistics or similar job.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity suite, especially Microsoft
Excel.
- Experience with ERP/EDI and operational processes.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good oral and written skills.
- Successful in working in a team-oriented environment.
