We are looking for an experienced Store Manager for our Burton flagship store in New York. The store manager is responsible for achieving store sales goals and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. Duties will include hiring, managing, training and developing all store staff including Assistant Managers, sales people, cashiers, and stock staff. The manager will apply and teach effective selling strategies, be responsible for inventory control and product merchandising, manage daily operations and expense control, and ensure that all operations policies and procedures are followed and maintained at the highest level. He/She will ensure the execution of visual merchandising directives and be responsible for maintaining excellent merchandising standards. Candidates must be experienced with analyzing, reconciling and reporting sales. Demonstrated organization skills, operations management and planning skills required.

This position requires at least 5-8 years of retail experience in a large volume retail environment, with at least 3 years of direct store manager responsibility and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong operations and organizational skills required along with excellent leadership and communication skills. Retail Pro inventory control system knowledge desirable. Accomplished snowboarder preferred.
