Betty Rides, an independently owned company, located in Portland, Oregon is looking for a Financial Controller to join the team. We are a tight knit group and are looking for a team player.

Responsibilities:

Finance
* Work with CEO to review budget weekly
* Create yearly budgets
* Create projected cash flow reports
* Create credit line needs worksheets
* Work with banks for financing
* Review accounts receivable and accounts payable on a weekly basis

Sales
* Create Sales program and prices for USA
* Create Sales program and prices for Canada
* Create Sales program and prices for Distributors
* Create Sales program and prices for International Retailers (FOB ASIA)
* International Sales
* North American Sales
* Create weekly Rep reports
* Create style, color etc. best selling reports

Production & Logistics
* Write Letters of Credit to production partners
* Establish delivery dates with production partners
* Manage WIP’s & timelines to ensure on time deliveries
* Manage incoming shipments and consolidations from Asia to USA
* Create shipment breakdown’s and shipping forms for distributors
* Manage distributor shipments
* Manage shipping documents
* Present documents to bank for LC drafts
* Troubleshoot production issues and re-arrange shipping breakdowns as appropriate
* Pre-clear USA bound shipments with customs agents (communicate HTS Codes etc)
* Create production summaries


Merchandising
* PRODUCT COSTING
* Competitor research
* Collaborate colors, sku’s, themes, features etc. for new collections
* Establish target Retails
* Establish target FOB’s
* Manage BOM Costing
* Create QB style codes and QB architecture for accurate reporting
* Create UPC codes

Sales Samples
* Create QB style codes for SS
* Select sample sets per sales rep
* Create SS order form for distributors
* Manage SS orders from distributors
* Create SS Purchase Orders to Factories
* Mange Rep SS shipments



Requirements:
* CPA
* Strong record of success
* 5+ years experience in finance within apparel / footwear / consumer products
* Ready to join a small team of dedicated and passionate people
