Will be the lead contact for respective sport and network properties. Work with respective Consumer Marketing, Programming and Strategic Marketing teams to proactively initiate, develop, and execute marketing and promotional activities that drive value, demand, and new product launches for respective sports and network properties. Identify strategies and basics to support affiliate promotion of these properties to ensure they are on brand. Proactively provide ongoing marketing guidance and lead in the development of partnerships and campaigns that meet the brand's objectives and support associated Affiliate Sales and Marketing goals.

Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of Affiliate Sales and Marketing brand strategies for respective networks/new products and services/sports. Ensure strategies are aligned with overall Affiliate Sales and Marketing, account, and channel goals. Support communication of strategies across department and within ESPN where applicable.
• Responsible for supporting and providing management & the coordination of all marketing programs and promotions that drive affiliate goals (networks, new products, value), including the following:
o Creative – Provide creative input related to the development, conception, and final product of promotional elements. Liaise with vendors and communicate necessary creative direction, deadlines and meetings etc.
o Legal – Liaise with legal departments and hired fulfillment agency to ensure compliance with national and individual state laws as they pertain to promotions, sweepstakes and contests via television, internet and retail locations. Work with hired fulfillment agency to ensure legal compliance through written rules, methods of entry, manage fulfillment process of entries and prizes.
o Participation – Manage participation reports including all necessary information. Assist in reinforcement and communication of deadlines.
o Fulfillment – Coordinate effective development and fulfillment of all marketing promotions. When fulfillment includes events, manage creation of on-site strategy and tactics and liaise with travel to coordinate all efforts.
o Merchandising efforts – Collect success stories from field. Research use and success of programs. Qualify results and create promotional recap.
o PR efforts – Support internal and external communication and PR strategies of all promotional initiatives.
o CMF – Execution of campaigns and promotions against network Contractual Marketing Fund strategy.
• Provide leadership for Marketing Coordinators across the Affiliate Sales and Marketing organization.
• Represent Affiliate Sales and Marketing strategic interests as assigned in relationships and partnerships across ESPN networks and affiliates.
• Collect and process results for post merchandise analysis & ROI, and develop and execute communications vehicles to convey results.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of sales materials (presentations, one sheets, sizzles) for key priority networks/new products and services.
• Manage budgets. Process, code, track and manage payments in SAP. Participate in overall budget strategy.
Basic Qualifications
• A minimum of two years of marketing experience.
• Strong fundamental understanding of the competitive landscape and current competitive trends for content distribution partners.
• Strong written and oral skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and analyze data to develop a strong story or distinct positioning.
• Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software products
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
• Sports marketing experience.
• Ability to generate ideas and new concepts/positioning as it relates to supporting sales goals.
• Sales and/or marketing experience preferably in television or new media content environment.
Preferred Education
• Graduate Degree is a plus.
Required Education
• BA or BS in a related field.
