We are currently seeking a Public Relations Freelancer who will report to the PR Coordinator as part of our dynamic team in New York
Role Mission
This 6-month opportunity will allow you to gain experience within a luxury brand that will support you for your next endeavor and future career. You will gain a well-rounded overview of Communications as a whole and learn to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
How you will contribute
This role will provide administrative support to the PR team to secure press coverage and brand awareness, assisting in all aspects of the PR team with a focus on sample trafficking and reporting
Ensuring fluid communication between public relations department, international offices and corresponding national/regional press contacts
Managing sample pulls and returns from leading media outlets and stylists
Coordinating messengers/shipments to ensure samples are tracked and delivered in time
Managing and documenting credit requests
Supporting on all internal PR reporting, including press clippings, compiling weekly recaps, tracking all print, digital and social coverage
Conducting media research projects
Supporting event preparation and execution
Who you are
Recent graduate or Co Op student
Great communications skills both written and verbal and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to take initiative and perform tasks in a self-sufficient manner
Highly organized, detail oriented and ability to multi-task
Experience of sample management using Fashion GPS
Eager to learn
Salary- New York
Salary of $15.00/hr
