The Breakdown:
The Brand Specialist oversees all consumer-facing Burton/Anon representation in a defined territory. The Brand Specialist is the primary contact for all brand-related efforts in the zone, including, but limited to, all events/activations, sponsorships, partnerships, training, educational opportunities, and digital asset deployment. The Brand Specialist will assure all efforts are aligned with Burton's SBOs and values with the objective of maximizing the reach and impact of Burton/Anon messaging and initiatives.
What You'll Get to Do:
! Brand Representation: Represent Burton/Anon in a professional manner and with positive attitude towards the accounts, partners, consumers, and to media where required.
! Brand Reach: Responsible for expanding the brand's reach on a yearly basis.
! Sponsorships: Responsible for evaluating, budgeting, planning & coordinating deliverables for Burton & Anon sponsored activations in the Territory.
! Partnerships: Responsible for communicating, tracking & coordinating deliverables to Burton & Anon Brand Partners, including but not limited to resort partners (ex: POWDR).
! Product Testing, Consumer Demos, Consumer Events: In conjunction with the Senior Area Manager and Area Manager, the Brand Specialist will identify, plan, organize and execute consumer on-snow demos and unique regional promotional activities (e.g. regional grassroots events in collaboration with marketing).
! Brand Creative & Campaign Expert: Responsible for requesting & deploying digital creative assets and logos to Burton & Anon partners, sponsored events, wholesale partners, resort & other local consumer facing channels.
! Main contact in the Territory for planning, coordination, & support of globally & regionally aligned owned event series (A Day For Jake, Mystery Series)
! Brand Performance Analysis: Track and report key KPIs for events, sponsorships, & other consumer facing activations (Foot traffic, units demoed, impressions, etc.)
! Brand Purpose Guru: Responsible for regional Brand Purpose focused sponsorships & partnerships supporting company-based goals around Our People, Our Planet and Our Sport.
! Marketing Plan Champion: When required, the Brand Specialist will support Burton Partner Stores and Wholesale Partners with Retail Merchandising, Events, & Marketing plans aligned with targeted marketing campaigns, to provide best in class, timely execution.
! Leading Localism:Collaborate with Flagship store Marketing Leads to plan and execute consumer-facing â??leading localismâ?? style events at Flagship locations with the goals of increasing foot traffic, loyalty membership and AOV. Support Flagship stores in establishing relationships with local business partners.
! Incentive & Training Programs: Support Sales & Training Incentives for the territory (ENDVR)
! Brand Communication Maestro: Regularly consult, inform, and collaborate with regional brand/events team.
! Promo Maestro: Maintain, inventory, and order promotional items for the territory with collaboration & support from regional brand & creative teams (Branded Tents, banners, stickers, etc.). Enter & track promotional orders
! Budget Conscious: Ability to manage, maximize and not exceed an allocated seasonal event budget.
! Other duties as Assigned
What You'll Bring to the Team:
! Bachelor Degree, preferably in Marketing
! Minimum 3 years of consumer-facing event experience.
! Proven record of successful execution of event strategies and programs
! Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and marketing strategies
! Ability to work remotely.
! Team player with key personal characteristics of reliability, flexibility, trustworthiness, and precision.
! Excellent self-organization and time management skills, ability to deal with multiple issues.
! Good presentation, written and communication skills.
! Good skills with all office software applications and the Internet.
! Extensive in-territory travel required plus additional travel to Burton HQ and other locations if required.
! Front board required.
