The Rome Snowboard Design Syndicate (SDS) continues to grow and are hiring talented product people to join our development team. We are looking an experienced Product Manager to head up our recently established boot category. The candidate should have a minimum of two years footwear product management, development or design experience, have exceptional organizational, presentation and communication skills, Asia work/travel experience and of course an all consuming pre-occupation with snowboarding.

As a Product Manager you will manage and execute the process from line conception to development through to final product specifications. Working with multiple elements within the SDS you will be responsible for building consensus and ensuring that the products brought to market are innovative, market relevant, on strategy and timely.

Significant international and domestic travel required

Responsibilities to include:
*Product development timeline management for category from concept through to delivery
*Management of factories, designers and developers
*Daily communication with vendors and sub-contractors
*Primary liaison between, team riders, sales, marketing and product
*Management and understanding of costing sheets, pricing, import/export, etc

Requirements:
*Bachelors degree (Business or Engineering preferred)
*2-5 years footwear product management and/or development experience (or equivalent)
*High level of understanding of footwear components and constructions
*Highly organized, detail oriented and deadline driven
*Excellent communication skills
*Asia experience
*Computer proficiency –Excel (advanced skills), Word and Illustrator
