Freedom 5s Alliance, Inc./ Exodus Clothes is in immediate need of a Print Production Supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Works with art department and management to coordinate work order production flow and scheduling
- Works on a daily basis with Re-label Production Supervisor to review and plan daily and weekly production schedules
- Daily setting up press for work orders, testing press samples, final check and approval. This responsibility requires that both speed and attention to detail be managed to a very high degree of proficiency. These responsibilities also include all pre-press preparations:
- Insuring screen size, mesh and tension.
- Overseeing cleaning and coating of screens and managing overall pre-production planning and coordination.
- Supervising the measuring and proper weighing of inks and chemicals.
- Receiving and shipping departments:
- Managing and coordinating with other areas (re-label/ fold and bag area) work flow process.
- Insuring that all apparel blanks are received, labeled and sorted on a daily basis.
- Supervising all work flow tables in a timely and proficient manner.
- Post production out flow:
- Coordinating with other areas to insure that work orders are completed on time and ready to ship.
- Responsible for all associates, out side of the Re-Label Fold& Bag area, training, work schedules, work assignments and general duties and performance. In particular, work flow productivity must be tracked, managed and continuously improved.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Pre and post production work flow supplies: Keeping inventory of all necessary supplies, ordering supplies from appropriate sources, and general supply organization.
- Pre and post production maintenance: Keeping track of all required machine maintenance, supervising maintenance and general duties. Over all shop and office cleaning and maintenance: responsible for supervising all aspects of these requirements. Manual screen press and flat press operations, including actual work order pre and post production.
While day to day operations are very intense, very detailed, quality driven, and require technical screen printing knowledge, our longer term need is to find and develop the right individual who will be charged to manage the growing production for our clothing brand as well as managing the current commercial screen printing operations. Our brand "lives" in the skate and surf world and this person would need to possess both a passion for creative printing and a passion for board sports and the entire youth culture that it represents. We need passion, a commitment to a very high standard in quality, drive to make things happen, ambition, and someone willing to give it everything that they have and then some.
