Top Profile Product design and branding agency in Los Angeles is seeking a Studio Manager to join our Creative team.
The Studio Manager is responsible for growing existing client relationships and pursue future client opportunities.
You will be actively involved in receiving client briefs, assessing client needs and producing project plans that detail each phase of a project life cycle ensuring client satisfaction.
The Studio manager works collaboratively directly with designers to ensure that the creative work meets the client's strategic objectives.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal) are required, as is an upbeat attitude and willingness to jump in where needed.
Must be extremely organized and efficient, and be able to manage and interact with many personality types (designers, Developer, CEOs, and everything in-between).
This position provides leadership (in collaboration with a creative lead) on projects from inception to completion.
Project types include Product design, graphics, identity design, Accessories design and full-scale branding.
Responsibilities:
• Grow existing business: Takes an active leadership role in growing the volume and scope of work we deliver to existing clients.
• Prepare proposals and budgets developing strategy in close cooperation with the creative staff & client to ensure projects meet their objectives.
• Helps build long-term relationships: Meets with clients on a regular basis to discuss design and project development.
• Helps set up financial relationship with client ( Retainer, Project Based, etc.) and manages to that relationship.
• Participates in internal reviews: Actively participates in evaluating the creative work against the Creative Brief during checkpoint reviews, ensuring that it will meet or exceed the client's expectations.
• Assists in creative presentations: Along with Creative Director takes a leadership position in creative presentations, facilitating the approval process.
• Assists in development of Case Studies of new business development: Helps identify potential Case Studies and helps gather content.
Specific Skills
The candidate must have at least three years of project management experience in a related field.
Mac literacy with proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat), Keynote, Word, Excel & Powerpoint is preferred.
A BA degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, English or Business/Management is preferred.
