Rockford Fosgate, high-performance audio manufacturer is looking to add to our marketing team. This is an extremely visible position in the industry and we’re looking for two people with a passion for audio and an understanding of a high-performance lifestyle brand.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Mobile Brand Representative will be responsible for implementing, through field activities, the goals of the sales and marketing departments. This individual will be instrumental in building the Rockford Fosgate brand and strengthening the relationships with key eastern region retailers through demonstrating Rockford Fosgate’s SoundLab (A mobile demonstration unit), merchandising support, support at key retail sales, attendance at strategic consumer events, etc. The Mobile Brand Representative will play a critical role in sales /marketing and customer service activities by acting as the company’s direct link to the market place in the evaluation of these functions and making appropriate recommendations.
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
• 80% of this individual’s time will be spent in the field on the road.
• Have extreme knowledge of all SoundLab functionality from demo mode, to set up and tear down.
• Perform overall daily maintenance of the SoundLab. I.e. Wash, vacuum, and wipe down, ensure all equipment is working properly.
• Schedule all needed service visits for SoundLab.
• Identify and attend pre-determined consumer events showcasing products in the expo areas. Activities to include: supporting local retailers, product demos, in car product demos, distribution of catalogs and giveaway items, capturing consumer names and market research via surveys, raffles, etc.
• Provide detailed reports on all field activities.
• Participate at major retail sales events providing assistance in the sale and tech support of products.
• Work closely with marketing team in the improvement of all Point of Purchase materials including: displays, catalogs, store signage, packaging, etc.
• Perform these and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• College degree preferred or requires 2+ years in the mobile electronics field
• 2+ years experience in marketing or retail sales a must.
• Clean driving record a must.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Highly enthusiastic.
• Strong communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented. Self-starter that can work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media outlets.
• Must be able to thrive in multiple environments.
