OBEY Clothing is looking for an enthusiastic Fashion Design Assistant to assist both the mens and juniors designers.

Duties will include:
• Preparation of design sheets and tech packs using Adobe Illustrator
• Sample management
• T-shirt matrixing and graphic manipulation using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Vendor correspondence both domestic and international
• Help execute the concepts of the designers with crucial attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet all deadlines

Requirements:
• College or Trade School design or production degree a must
• Some experience in the fashion industry is preferred
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and knowledgeable of Photoshop and Excel
• Knowledge of apparel development, fabrics, construction, fit, materials, and specs
• Timely sense of trends and market direction including color, fabric and silhouette
• Detail-oriented
• Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills for overseas development
• Works well in a team environment
• Enthusiastic person with a strong desire to learn
