Contiki Holidays, the world's largest tour operator for 18-35 year olds is seeking an experienced, energetic Marketing Manager.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Develop objectives, strategies, marketing plans, budgets and programs for youth travel products.
•Oversee all trade and consumer advertising from research, media buying and planning to ad agency creative development and trafficking.
•Oversee implementation and execution of marketing plans and promotions.
•Report and analyze competitive activity, market trends and consumer dynamics.
•Develop and negotiate promotional partnerships and create co-marketing programs with other high-profile youth brands and current retail partners.
•Manage PR strategy including media relations, building relationships with key media and securing feature stories
•Work closely with sales staff to identify appropriate local marketing opportunities.
•Supervise the design, creation and distribution of consumer and trade marketing collateral including brochures, postcards, flyers, newsletters and other POS.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
•College degree and 5+ years experience in consumer marketing.
•Experience developing marketing plans for consumer, travel or entertainment products.
•Results oriented self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
•Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and budgets.
•Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Solid understanding of print production process.
•Experience working with media and managing outside agencies (advertising, promotional, etc.)
•Highly proficient in computer applications: Microsoft Office Suite Software
