The Marketing Specialist is an integral role within in the USA Marketing team responsible for delivering high quality, brand appropriate campaigns in line with Specialized Bicycle Components’ marketing initiatives. The position calls for a detail oriented, creative problem solver, and team player. Success is determined by project management prowess and a deadline driven mentality as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Project manage USA Marketing with projects and programs. Plan, execute and track key marketing initiatives.
• Develop strategies for campaign execution including briefs, timing, distribution, reporting. Manage our print on demand website partnership.
• Support sales with seeding/sales program creation. Manage the financing program and gift card program.
• Manage the planning and execution of POP retail initiatives, such as in-store displays, signage, shop specific video and posters.
• Manage the production of advertising, marketing brochures, sales kits and other promotional materials. Assist with press releases and corporate communications to dealers.
• Create opt-in marketing programs for retailers to drive business in key strategic categories.
• Negotiate and execute vendor contracts with printers, SWAG providers, custom apparel and any other partnership.
• Manage the budget for retail and consumer marketing.
• Be the central point of contact for dealers and sales staff for marketing support.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO WIN:
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a basic knowledge of Illustrator and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to manage a budget
• Must be extremely detailed, organized and excel in follow through
• 2-3 years’ experience in marketing, retail marketing, project management or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business related field
Preferred Qualifications:
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines while managing multiple projects
• Proven ability to build teams and partnerships
• Effective problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
