Liquid Force, the wakeboarding and kiteboarding industry leader, is looking for a product designer / design engineer to work directly with the design team on the development of new products for the Wakeboard and Kiteboard divisions. Designer will take ownership of multiple projects and work with artists, engineering, and domestic and overseas vendors to continue the tradition of relentless innovation at Liquid Force.

Responsibilities:
-Work directly with the design team and vendors on all stages of the development process including:
-Conceptual design
-Detailed design and analysis
-Prototype management and testing
-Initial production and quality management
-Create and manage development timelines and budgets to insure on-time, on-budget projects
-Communicate with and visit domestic and overseas vendors during the development process to insure design intent and quality control specifications are met

Requirements:
-Passionate Kiteboarder with strong knowledge of kite design and the kiteboard market
-3+ years of product design experience
-Must have a 4 year related degree, preferably bachelors in Engineering or Industrial Design
-Must have a thorough understanding of the product development process
-proficiency with 2D and 3D cad (Solidworks and/or surfacing skills desired)
-proficiency with Adobe Illustrator
