Major Role

The Account Manager is the day-to-day point person for each account he/she is assigned to manage. He/she is directly responsible and will be held accountable for all activities on the account. The Account Manager should have a strong understanding of the Client's business and be able to act as an extension to their marketing department. It is the Account Manager's responsibility to ensure effective/efficient account operations within the agency environment. Day-to-day management of all aspects of the account, including strategy, creative, production and media are paramount to excel in this position. In this role, the Account Manager is expected to carry out the daily account activities but also think and act strategically on behalf of the Client. The Account Manager reports to the Director of Account Services.

Major Responsibilities and Duties

*Determine strategies and messaging for campaigns.
*Write creative briefs, forward to client for approval and brief Creative and Interactive Teams on upcoming assignments.
*Gather and provide Creative and Interactive Teams with any background information that will assist them with the Creative assignment.
*Manage accounts pro-actively, understand the Clients planning cycles and manage all assignments and timelines accordingly.
*Master presenting in front of Clients.
*Open Jobs Develop and manage production timelines.
*Guide production jobs through the agency.
*Manage timelines to ensure projects are completed on time.
*Update agency production schedule twice weekly.
*Master writing conference reports.
*Schedule meetings when needed, room set-up/take down for client meetings.
*Track jobs to ensure they are delivered in budget.
*Manage daily and weekly updating of the revenue projections.
*Track and bill jobs weekly.
*Generate monthly billing of a minimum of $60,000 or the target goal as it may change.
*Manage print buying activities, including triple bidding projects to ensure efficiencies for our Clients.
*Write and mange Client status reports.
*Gather background and research for new business pitches when asked.
*Prepare annual competitive analysis for clients.
*Lead brainstorming sessions.
*Communicate to Clients recommending a specific course of action with rationale.
*Demonstrate clear and effective communications when dealing with both internal staff and Clients.
*Responsible for the management of the historical account information - past work, scripts, agency/client correspondence, signed estimates, layout and beta approvals and proposals.
