Mad Engine of San Diego, CA. is looking for an Account Manager to join the team!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Project Management- Liaison between sales team and company to facilitate account needs.
• Maintain constant communication with Sales Reps to identify any customer needs or requirements to ensure highest level of satisfaction.
• Sales Analysis- Analyze selling reports and placement to build smart assortments and educate art department staff.
• Sales Calendar Maintenance- Log, maintain and prioritize visible calendar of sales meeting and projects.
• Presentation Management- Create successful presentations for each sales meeting from art books to samples.
• Sales order/production management- Track and manage a team to ensure timely execution and delivery of product.
• Trend Research & Execution- Research and identify new market trends and opportunities with the ability to create boards to present.
• Other duties to be assigned as needed.
COMPETENCIES:
• Must have a keen understanding of the apparel industry and the customer that buys our product.
• Our account manager must thrive in a fast paced environment and work well under stress.
• This individual needs to have good people management skills and work well in a team environment.
• Candidate will be required to travel to sales meetings and be able to present with strong verbal and visual executions.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of
management, both internal and with the account.
• Strong facilitation and problem solving skills- including idea generation, conflict management, issue escalation, prioritization, and the
ability to manage changing priorities are very important.

• Should be detail-oriented, punctual, reliable and professional.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2-4 year degree
• Minimum 3-5 year experience in retail/buying/sales
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Adobe Creative Suite skills a plus

• Salary negotiable depending on experience.
