Job Summary:
Oversee and manage the day to day operations of the Director of Sourcing and Production. Manages all vendor / manufacturing relationships with regards to costing, margin, delivery, quality assurance, and import /export issues. Manage the development staff and factories to ensure timelines for samples and finished production are met, while maximizing quality and profit margin.

Job Duties:
• Facilitate the search, monitoring, and evaluation of factories and vendors capable of meeting company standards for quality product and competitive pricing.
• Communicates target FOB’s and manage the price negotiations/confirmation process with all vendors / agents on all follow up and delivery status.
• Establish and coach team adherence to production calendar, thoroughness, and quality control.
• Facilitate communications between design and factories to maintain cycle surrounding development/production.
• Organize procedures and timelines for team to synch with licensees and distributors.
• Negotiate and review product costings and margins.
• Anticipate potential issues at an early stage and manage multiple tasks.
• Act as liaison between Design, Production, and Sales to ensure smooth product distribution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 7 years sourcing/development/production experience in apparel.
• Interest and knowledge of actions sports market.
• Ability to travel overseas.
• Extensive knowledge of domestic and overseas apparel vendors.
