Currently, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee a team of commissioned Fitness Specialists and Fitness Consultants while driving overall sales performance. Overview
As a Sales Manager, your primary focus will be to train, supervise and motivate a commissioned sales staff responsible for the sales of our high-end Precor fitness line.
Although a sales manager may participate in sales calls, deliver sales presentations or meet with clients, the primary responsibility is to track, monitor and bolster sales for the team's assigned product and territory. It is the sales manager's responsibility to reach firm revenue targets, produce accurate sales forecasts and set performance goals for subordinates.
Additional Responsibilities
+ Participate in facilitating marketing strategies and training meetings with fitness specialists and consultants, including vendor clinics and new product training
+ Assist in the development of new business and incremental sales through community involvement and grass roots participation
+ Serve as communication liaison to the Executive VP of Store Operations, and coach, develop and evaluate fitness sales staff
+ Recruit and interview Fitness Specialists and Consultant candidates
Qualifications
- Superior oral, interpersonal communication and leadership skills are required
- Must work well with different types of personalities
- Solid understanding of our product and services
- Proven ability to reach or surpass revenue targets and goals
- Must be able perform under stress and meet tight deadlines
- Ambitious with a high degree of follow through level of energy
- Bachelors Degree preferred
A salary plus a variable compensation plan which includes commissions will be offered along with above average earning potential.
