Job Description:
The Sales Manager for Hardgoods will be based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Primary responsibility will be to increase sales of the Scott brand within the North American Outdoor and Wintersport Market. This position reports to the Executive VP of Sales and Marketing.
Primary Job Duties:
• Develop and Manage the Sales Team to achieve the company’s distribution and sales goals
• Manage Inventory
• Prepare Sales/Marketing Plans and Forecasts
• Manage Budgets
• Perform Financial and Market Analysis
• Manage Key Accounts
• Train and Motivate the Sales Team
• Create and Execute effective Sales Programs
• Create Sales Tools
• Develop Sales Channels
• Hire effective Sales Staff, dismiss the ineffective
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 Years of Sales Management Experience
• 3 Years of Experience Managing a Team of 10 or more
• Must have experience in the Wintersport and/or Outdoor Industry
• Strong computer Skills with expertise in Excel
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work in a variety of product Categories and Industries
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills
