FOX in Irvine, Ca. is looking for a Retail Merchandise Allocator to join its retail operations team.

Position Summary:
The Retail Merchandise Allocators main function is to allocate merchandise to the Retail brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce store. Responsibilities include seasonal initial order placement, managing the virtual warehouse inventory for Retail and e-commerce, prior season consolidation of inventory and balancing current goods. Partner with Merchandise Manager and Planning Manager to maintain proper assortments and inventory levels.


Essential Functions of this Role:
• Meet weekly allocation goals for stores
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Purchasing Department and DC.
• Maintain and communicate seasonal SKU data information to the Merchandise Manager and Planning Manager.
• Analyze size selling at store level and revise buys to reflect current trends.
• Assist in seasonal buy planning process by creating buy worksheets with statistical data.
• Input and manage purchase orders from inception through shipping cycle with a stretch goal of 100% ship rate.
• Recommend to Merchandise Manager and Planning Manager the consolidation of broken sizes and colors to best performing locations.
• Develop and maintain a replenishment process.
• Maximize the sales of best sellers by maintaining optimum inventory levels.
• Maintain reports to track status of aged inventory and discontinued inventory.
• Manage inventory flow to maintain assortment balance.
• Manage PO tracking and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain real time on order records and warehouse inventory status.
• Develop and publish allocation recap by day, by store.
• Communicate store needs to Merchandise Manager and Planning Manager.
• Manage Key Item stock levels to maximize sales and profitability.
• Recommend markdowns by SKU.
• Execute the allocation of product to stores .
• Develop and implement new store allocation plan to ensure proper inventory levels and product mix.


Minimum Education, Experience and Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years experience in allocation capacity.
• Experience in sales analysis, allocating and inventory control.
• Apparel industry experience a must.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated history of utilizing initiative to drive results.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
• Experience working in a growth business.
• Thorough knowledge of Excel, database and SAP experience a plus.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and collaborations.


Physical Requirements:
• May be required to work more than 8 hours during a workday
• Sitting for long periods of time
• Significant manual dexterity for keying in data for long periods of time


Scheduling Requirements:
• Must be available to work occasional off-hours
• Must be available during standard business hours
