Earth Products has an immediate opening for a Regional Account Manager.
Job Summary:
The Regional Account Manager would be charged with maximizing sales responsibly for their given territory and providing excellent customer service. The individual would be working hand in hand with the outside sales representative to service core retailers in a given territory. Responsible for inputting all orders, prebook and a/o, make outbound phone calls to shops and order maintenance once they are in the system.
This person must be outgoing, have strong communication skills and be very organized. Other qualities necessary for the position are: detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work load.
Direct Job Responsibilities:
• Service all calls for given territory and assist in coverage for others when they are out of the office.
• Order file management and maintenance for respective territory.
• Generate open order reports on a weekly basis for outside sales rep.
• Manage promo budgets for respective territories.
• Oversee sell through issues and RA request (stock rotations).
• Monthly contact with all accounts in region
• Support for events and promotions
• Proactive sales calls
• Outbound calls to all accounts in territory to stir up additional sales (fill-ins, add-ons, prebooks, and mid season product).
• Coordinate with reps on opening new accounts
• Order entry
• Participate in monthly sales/marketing meetings
• Brainstorming ideas for programs/incentives
• Review sales for the month/progress to goal
• Review rep routing guides
• Handle problems / issues for accounts
Travel:
Available to attend all sales meetings and major tradeshows – occasional regional show.
Travel territory at least once per year.
