We have an immediate need for Sales Director-EMEA. As a European-based position reporting to the Managing Director, EMEA, the Sales Director is responsible for developing, executing and managing a sales strategy for One Distribution’s business across EMEA encompassing both long and short-term growth initiatives that focus on high growth and preservation of brand integrity.


Key Job Accountabilities

•Develop long term growth plan for both brands encompassing segmented distribution strategies
•Align EMEA sales objectives with brand’s global objectives
•Recruit, train and manage sales staff as needed
•Provide key sales leadership for One Distribution’s direct countries
•Participate in work planning, process development, sales goal setting, hiring decisions and performance monitoring
•Directly manage One Distribution’s Country Sales Managers in the direct markets include setting long term and short term objectives, setting sales goals and monitoring performance
•Develop and oversee key account strategies including semi-annual account business plans and monthly revenue targets
•Manage the EMEA distributors in order to maximize revenue and ensure a consistent global distribution plan
•Understand market place utilize assessment, knowledge and a brand management focus to adjust and drive business plans through accounts.
•Analyze and report on the effectiveness of product, sales, costs, and results
•Provide sales forecasts, sell through reports and product ROI info to EU and Global management
•Coordinate with sales and purchasing team to align financial forecasts with appropriate inventories
•Coordinate with EU and Global product managers ensuring that EMEA product needs are met

Essential Requirements

•An experienced and highly energetic Sales Director with a minimum of 5 years + of pan-European experience in either the sport, lifestyle or fashion footwear and apparel sectors
•A proven leader with the capacity to motivate and positively manage a team of pan-European sales managers
•Ability to utilize financial decision making models and translate them into business plans and accurate revenue forecasts
•Highly developed verbal and written skills with an ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives
•An expert with the ability to deliver top-line sales objectives with a focus on profitability and margin.
•Strong organizational skills and adept at short and long-term strategies that facilitate achievement of objectives.
•Extensive travel required
