We have immediate need for an experienced sales rep to sell advertising, sponsorship and data services to winter sports related companies (ski/snowboard/clothing related companies, travel/tourism, media, and other large and midsized companies). The product set revolves around a very popular and growing winter sports portal with a 7 year history of innovation and growth.
Successful candidate will have experience turning prospects into closed sales, calling on our large base of winter sports related businesses. Must be highly motivated, and have knowledge of winter sports along with advertising and sales. Must have proven experience building relationships and closing deals. Responsibilities include working and growing our established contact lists to sell B2B services and sponsorships to retailers, lodging and travel companies, ski resorts, real estate providers, winter sports manufacturers, as well as initiate large, long term business partnerships with media and telecom firms.
Position is commission based, with short term draw for the right candidate. Independent rep/non-employee initially, with chance to grow into Regional/National Director of Sales down the road.

Experience in sales strategy, product development, pricing strategy, contracting, and especially closing very important. Knowledge of winter sports industry a major plus, knowledge of skiing and snowboarding, internet product/service sales, advertising/media sales and business development needed.
