The SmartWool Field Service Representative creates brand awareness and provides technical education and training opportunities for the SmartWool brand within the specialty retail market. Based in the USA, New England Region (Boston, MA)
MAJOR RESONSIBILITIES:
- Educate and excite retail associates on SmartWool brand and product offering through training and in-store events.
- Maintain up-to-date, comprehensive product knowledge and technical information.
- Work with retailer on the sales floor, stock product, and merchandise as needed.
- Provide national and regional trade show support.
- Support local, regional, and national field marketiing and brand events.
- Maintain budget and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2+ yrs of work experience in Outdoor Specialty, athletic, or footwear industries in customer service, sales, or marketing.
- Strong communications and computer skills.
- Ability to manage work schedule in a position which calls for significant independence.
- Must have a passion for the outdoors and be an outdoor performance "user" in order to understand how the consumer thinks and how to best develop sell through strategies and training programs.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
