Stio is looking to add a Community Marketing Manager to its team in Chicago, IL.

The primary responsibility of the Community Marketing Manager position is to drive brand awareness in the local market and traffic to the store through community outreach, sponsorship, social media, traditional media and events. The ideal candidate has marketing background with deep understanding of media, events landscape and influencers in Chicago’s active lifestyle community. This position will work together with the Corporate Marketing Manager and the Chicago Store Manager to develop and execute a localized community marketing and advertising plan.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify events, media outlets, partnerships, social media collaborations for Stio marketing opportunities
- Network with athletic events, running/cycling/SUP/sailing clubs, sports associations, climbing gyms, athletes, guides and Chicago based B2B retail partners
- Onboard and manage a team of Brand Store Ambassadors to represent Stio in the region
- Execute brand store community events to maximize brand engagement in the market place
- Collaborate with local B2B retail partners on event and community marketing
- Manage local social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
- Work with Corporate Marketing Department to implement local seasonal PR plan
- Plan and execute local ad campaigns. Advise on locations for marketing tactics and placements
- Support local on-site brand activation at events as needed
- Produce monthly reports on community engagement, events and PR
- Participate in weekly marketing call with Corporate Marketing Manager
- Required to work 12-16 hours/week as a sales associate for customer interaction and brand experience
- Manage community marketing budget
