Field Scout is seeking a freelance content producer to join our team in Portland, Oregon. Our ideal candidate thrives on a different challenge every day. You’re someone who likes being part of the big picture while ensuring no detail ever falls through the cracks. A jack-of-all-trades, master of...well, quite a bit.
This is a temporary position in a fast-growing experiential marketing agency. We’re looking for an ambitious team player who’d like to grow with us.
A LITTLE ABOUT YOU
• 3–5+ years of relevant content production experience, preferably within digital/social media
• Experience working with outdoor brands, influencers, and/or content creators is a plus
• Possess extraordinary attention to detail, follow-through, and time management skills
• Able to prioritize tasks to meet aggressive, overlapping deadlines
• Highly organized, flexible, positive, and outgoing
• Strong communicator (verbal and written) with great interpersonal skills; a team player
• Passion for outdoor recreation and nontraditional marketing is a plus
• Willing and able to work nontraditional business hours
• Have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record (acceptable to our insurance carrier for inclusion on our coverage for business-related travel)
• Able to manage project budgets and execute basic arithmetic, including percentages, and have a comprehensive knowledge of Excel
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage all planning, budget forecasting, and execution related to assigned projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget, while meeting initial goals and adhering to brand standards and guidelines
• Strive to proactively—and with positivity and composure—collaborate and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
• Effectively present and communicate your team’s work, ideas, and progress, both internally and to clients, providing updates and securing approvals in a timely manner; previous client-facing experience is a plus
