Fuse is currently seeking a versatile, gifted, and enthusiastic copywriter to join our team in pristine Laguna Beach, California. You’ll work on a variety of projects for a major national client across various media channels in a fun-loving, hard-working SoCal environment. We’re just a short walk from the water and housed in a one-of-a-kind office space. We take our work seriously, without taking ourselves too seriously along the way.
You should have a major passion for writing and advertising, with the ability to write in a strong voice across a variety of formats. You'll be writing copy for commercials, websites, email blasts, web banners, shot lists, strategy documents, and a wide variety of other projects.
Experience creating mass-market advertising materials in an agency environment is a must.
Familiarity with the world of motorsports is a major advantage. You don't have to be an expert (yet), but should know the difference between cruisers and sportbikes, ATVs and side-by-sides.
You should also be able to collaborate effectively with a fast-moving team of friendly producers, account managers, and others outside the immediate creative team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Concept and collaborate with an award-winning creative team, including other copywriters, interaction designers, art directors, and programmers.
• Write compelling and grammatically clean long-form website copy as well as effective headlines, taglines, and calls to action.
• Be comfortable writing in multiple styles and for multiple formats (including occasional technical writing), especially digital and video.
• Ensure creative concepts, tactics, and copy tone are on brand and strategically sound.
• Complete high-quality work on tight deadlines and in accordance with client criteria.
• Meet with and present work to clients of all levels - from junior brand managers to senior marketing clients.
• Ability to nurture junior talent.
