POSITION SUMMARY //
We are looking to hire a part-time Customer Service Assistant to provide administrative support to both the Customer Service and Sales teams. The position will start out part-time in our Irvine office, with the potential of becoming full time in the future. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of previous experience in a customer service /sales position, excellent communication skills and a team-player work ethic.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES //
• Manage daily incoming customer service inquiries via phone or email
• Coordinate customer invoicing
• Create inventory and sales reports / analysis to management
• Provide enthusiastic, timely and proactive service to customers, including retail partners, and sales reps
• Take ownership of the customer experiences
• Create sales orders and ability to up-sell other products, while servicing customers
• Processing replacement orders for damaged/defective goods
• Issuing return authorization numbers to accounts for defective and non-defective goods
• Answering warranty questions and providing guidance on claims
• Issuing call tags with UPS on a case by case basis
• Tracking shipments and providing tracking information to customers
• Reviews credit hold accounts and works closely with A/R to ensure on-time payments
• Process credit memos when appropriate
• Pulling samples for sales representatives and/or retailers
• Administrative duties (filing, copying, etc)
